2011-12: NEWMAC Rookie of the Year...NEWMAC all-conference second team...played in 24 games, started 23...10.7 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game, 56 assists, 42 steals...led the team in scoring, assists, and steals, and was fifth in rebounds...recorded at least 10 points in 14 games...scored 23 points against Simmons (12/30) and had a 22-point performance at Mount Holyoke (2/4)...grabbed nine rebounds versus Wheaton (1/18)...dished out five assists on five occasions...had four steals in four games...against Albany College (11/20) she was sent to the charity stripe on three straight possessions where she hit five consecutive free throws that thwarted a late rally and propelled MIT to a 65-49 win...in a 617-57 win over WPI (12/3) she buried a jumper with 10 seconds remaining in regulation to give MIT a two-point edge...three days later in an overtime battle at Coast Guard, she connected on a three-pointer just 48 seconds into the extra session and later nailed a jumper with 47 seconds left to play, giving MIT a four-point cushion that resulted in a 73-67 victory...in a 69-65 come-from-behind win over Simmons (12/30), she went 3-of-4 from the free throw line during the final 16.4 seconds, including two successful attempts with two seconds on the clock...against Wheaton (1/18), she knocked down a trey right after coming off the bench to give MIT a four-point margin with three minutes left to play while her two free throws with 10 seconds to go sealed the 45-41 victory...trailing by four points at Springfield (2/11), Kordell sank a layup with 15 seconds on the clock and after a free throw by the Pride, she drove the length of the court for another lay-in with eight ticks left, while MIT stole the in-bounds pass and then drained two free throws with no time remaining to capture the 51-50 win.
