Why I Chose MIT: When I first came to MIT, I was amazed by the humility and genuine kindness of almost all the students I met. MIT has strong academic and athletic standing; however, for me MIT's greatest attraction was the personality of the student body. Moreover, I cannot think of a better place to push myself academically and athletically. MIT students are not content with being average, and I know that my peers will inspire me to become a better volleyball player, student, and person.
High School: A 2013 graduate of North Allegheny Senior High School … PIAA all-state team as a senior … district first team as a senior and third team as a junior … two-time all-section … 2013 state champions … three-time district champions … collected 358 digs during his senior year … three-time varsity letterwinner … was the co-captain of the soccer team and earned two varsity letters … National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society treasurer … National Merit finalist … AP Physics B School Student of the Year … National Forensics League Distinction Degree … finished third at the Euro-Challenge … National Spanish Exam Gold Medal Distinction … AP Scholar with Honors … second place at Penn State Essay Competition.
