- Internship: Northrop Grumman (two systems engineering internships working in space systems)
- Research: MIT Electric Aircraft Initiative – Building an aircraft that would fly with electroaerodynamic propulsion
- Research: MIT Space Systems Lab – Worked on Project SpinAp developing a rotating synthesized aperture space telescope
- Research: MIT Laboratory for Aviation and the Environment – Designed and machined parts, built a large RC aircraft
