Alli Davanzo joined MIT’s coaching staff in 2019 following a four-year career playing for the Engineers.

Davanzo was a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-America honorable mention selection, was voted to the AVCA New England All-Region team three times, and was the 2015 AVCA New England Freshman of the Year. She was a three-time NEWMAC All-Conference honoree and earned spots on the New England Women’s Volleyball Association (NEWVA) All-New England Team on three occasions. Davanzo was also tabbed for NEWVA Rookie of the Year and All-Rookie Team plaudits.

MIT captured two NEWMAC Championships and qualified for the NCAA Tournament all four years during Davanzo’s career, including a pair of appearances in the regional final. For her efforts, she was named to the 2017 NCAA Tournament Providence, R.I. Regional All-Tournament Team.

A middle hitter, Davanzo graduated ranked third all-time at MIT in career hitting percentage (.340) and ninth in career blocks (282).

A 2018 graduate, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently works with startups in the Cambridge area.
