Annie Bryan joined MIT’s coaching staff in 2022 following a four-year career playing for the Engineers.
A middle hitter, Bryan graduated ranked third all-time at MIT in career hitting percentage (.356). During her senior season, she led the NEWMAC in block assists (75).
Bryan was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team, in addition to being a three-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team qualifier. She was named to the AVCA All-America Third Team and the AVCA All-Region Team, as well as the NEWMAC All-Conference Second Team and the New England Women’s Volleyball Association (NEWVA) All-New England Second Team.
MIT captured a NEWMAC Championship and a NCAA Regional Championship during Bryan’s senior year. For her efforts, she was named the NEWMAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player and earned a spot on the 2021 NCAA Tournament Cambridge, Mass. Regional All-Tournament Team.
A 2022 graduate, Bryan received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in computer science and mathematical economics. After graduating, she spent her summer in Copenhagen, Denmark, working for a cybersecurity startup. Bryan is currently a software engineer at Meta and enjoys running, crocheting, and playing with her golden retriever, Tucker.
