Kaylynn Tran joined MIT’s coaching staff in 2022 following a four-year stint as an assistant coach at her alma mater Bard College. She also coached various teams for New York Elite Volleyball. In addition, she serves as the DAPER Special Projects Coordinator after being named to the position on November 1, 2022.
Tran was a four-year member of the Raptors’ women's volleyball team and was a co-captain for two seasons. She was also a four-year starter in goal for Bard’s women’s lacrosse team. Tran graduated as the program record holder for saves in a game (20), saves in a season (155), and career saves (534).
Tran graduated from Bard in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics.
