Mike Coniglione begins his eighth year as an assistant coach for the MIT women's volleyball program. 

Coniglione previously served as an assistant coach from 2015 through 2021. During that time, he helped lead the Engineers to three NEWMAC championships (2016, 2017, and 2021), four NCAA Tournament appearances (2015, 2016, 2017, and 2021), and an NCAA Regional championship (2021). He also served as an assistant coach with MIT's men’s volleyball team for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

In addition to coaching at MIT, Coniglione was a director for the girl’s program at Mill City Volleyball Club in Lowell, Massachusetts from 2017 through 2023.

Coniglione currently works in MIT’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering as the department's Senior Human Resources Representative.
