Why I Chose MIT:
- After visiting, it was clear to me that MIT was a place that valued collaboration, innovation, and diversity. I could also see how MIT’s athletic program emulated this culture as I was immediately welcomed by a friendly team of people who pushed me to be my best and willingly offered their time and experience to make me feel supported. In addition, the abundance of opportunities in research, internships, clubs, and athletics here are wide open. I like to think of MIT as “Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory” for all its students. I am incredibly honored to be able to work in the classroom and on the court with students who both inspire me and have my back.
