Why I Chose MIT:
-Â I chose MIT because it felt like the perfect combination of high academics and competitive volleyball. Not only was I drawn to MIT for its top-notch academic instruction, unique collaborative student environment, and countless research and internship opportunities, but the instant family that the volleyball program offers is one of its greatest appeals. I was fortunate to visit campus several times over the course of my junior and senior years, and each time I left amazed at how compassionate, caring, and committed the volleyball women were to their sport and each other. The prospect of having an outstanding education with a close group of teammates while playing the sport that I love is what made me sure that MIT was the place for me! I'm excited for the challenge and growth that I will experience at MIT.
