Off the Court at MIT: Majoring in computer science.
Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because I knew science and engineering were subjects I wanted to pursue and I know MIT will push me to be the best I can be. On top of that, the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball is something I looked for, but I didn't want athletics to dominate academics. Something great about MIT is that everyone knows the importance of education, even if you play a sport or have other extracurriculars. In addition to the student-athlete balance, everyone I've met here is so genuine, passionate, and driven to do what they love that I doubt there is a better group of people to surround yourself with.
