Biography

2016: Played in 34 sets ... 72 digs ... collected 10 digs versus Heidelberg (9/4) ... tallied eight digs versus Haverford (9/3), Gordon (9/7), Colby-Sawyer (10/6), and Tufts (10/22) ... earned three aces against Delaware Valley (9/3).

Off the Court at MIT: Majoring in computer science.

Why I Chose MIT: I chose MIT because I knew science and engineering were subjects I wanted to pursue and I know MIT will push me to be the best I can be. On top of that, the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball is something I looked for, but I didn't want athletics to dominate academics. Something great about MIT is that everyone knows the importance of education, even if you play a sport or have other extracurriculars. In addition to the student-athlete balance, everyone I've met here is so genuine, passionate, and driven to do what they love that I doubt there is a better group of people to surround yourself with.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Aragon High School ... captain ... two-time all-league first team ... team MVP ... valedictorian ... Honor Roll ... AP Scholar ... National Merit Letter of Commendation.

Club: Payes Volleyball Club, Encore Volleyball Club ... junior national club team was nationally-ranked ninth in 2012, 14th in 2013, and 10th in 2014.
