Why I Chose MIT: For me, there was not just one reason why I chose MIT but several that combined provided the best fit for me. Being able to go to school in Boston was definitely an influence since I consider it such a vibrant and interesting city. The endless academic opportunities speak for themselves and you get the chance to share them with an incredibly talented body of professors as well as students. Finally, volleyball was a big factor in my college decisions and at MIT I felt at home with the welcoming players and coaches. I loved the overall feel and dynamics of the program. It was something I could not put a finger on but I knew it was the place to be for me.
