Why I Chose MIT:
- I chose to attend MIT because of its challenging academics and competitive volleyball program. The numerous opportunities for research internships set MIT apart from every other college. I want to study nuclear fusion and hope to participate in research that is occurring at Commonwealth Fusion Systems. I would also like to study computer science and learn about its potential to accelerate nuclear fusion’s research in creating sustainable energy. MIT’s collaboration with Commonwealth Fusion Systems and the opportunity to connect with their researchers is one of the biggest things that drew me to the school.
