Alex Cho (San Diego, Calif.), the MIT men's basketball team had its three-game winning snapped in a 92-74 home loss to Keene State on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The game was even over the opening 8:30 of play as the Engineers held a slim 15-14 edge after a three-point play from sophomore
Christian Rich (Holladay, Utah). The Owls countered with a decisive 12-0 scoring run over the next 4:03, capped by a pair of
James Anozie free throws that made it 26-15 in favor of the visitors.

- MIT cut the lead down to three at 29-26 with 4:42 remaining in the half after a jumper from Cho, but the Owls closed the half on a 14-6 run to take the 43-32 advantage into the break.

- The Engineers narrowed the margin to six at 43-37 after a layup by senior
Dan Pilsbury (Millington, N.J.) early in the half before the Owls pushed it back to double figures at 52-40 with 15:19 on the clock. Keene State led by as many as 20 at 92-72 in the final seconds before the 18-point win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Cho finished with 29 points, six assists and four steals on 12-of-19 shooting from the field. Senior
Ian Hinkley (Raleigh, N.C.) had 14 points and a team-high six rebounds, along with 10 points from Pilsbury to go along with five rebounds, four steals and two assists.

Jeff Hunter led the Owls with 19 points and nine rebounds, while Anozie added an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double.
Nate Siow posted 18 points, six assists and four steals, along with 15 points from
Mason Jean Baptiste.

- Both teams shot well from the field with the Engineers shooting 51.9 percent and the Owls shooting 58.1 percent. MIT finished 13-of-15 from the free throw line, while Keene State held a 34-22 rebounding advantage and forced 18 MIT turnovers.
