The Lead:Â The 13th-ranked MIT squash team returned from a short break to take a 7-2 victory over visiting Brown on Tuesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Â The Engineers took victories in spots 5-9 with sophomore
Collin Wen (Short Hills, N.J.), senior
Keith Lamp (Short Hills, N.J.) and junior
Matt McManus (Philadelphia, Pa.) claiming three-set sweeps.
- In the top-spot, senior
Aman Sanger (New York, N.Y.) took set one from
Grant Sterman, 12-10, but Sterman responded winning the second by a score of 8-11. Sanger proceeded to wrap up the match with 11-7 wins in the next two sets.
UP NEXT:
- MIT will head to Charlottesville, Va. To participate in the UVA Round Robin Tournament this weekend. The Engineers will open play on Friday, December 3 against Navy at 6:00 p.m.
