The Lead:Â The MIT men's squash team opened up the 2021-22 season with two 9-0 victories over Boston University and Boson College on Thursday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED vs Boston University:
- The Engineers had no issues taking care of the Terriers as MIT swept all of the matches.
- At the top spots, senior
Aman Sanger (New York, N.Y.) earned a 3-0 win (11-1, 11-0, 11-1) while graduate student
Joe O'Connor (Madison, N.J.) followed with a 3-0 victory (11-2, 11-3, 11-1) and first-year
Tom Hogan (Malvern, Pa.) won his match 3-0 (11-3. 11-3. 11-1).
HOW IT HAPPENED vs. Boston College:
- Once again, the Engineers took care of business, sweeping all the matches against the Eagles. MIT got solid play from all the spots in the match with O'Connor and Hogan leading the way in the top two spots.

Bill Wu (Eagleville, Pa.) took a 3-0 victory (11-4, 11-2, 11-4) while sophomore
Nikhil Kakarla (Philadelphia, Pa.) also registered a 3-0 win (11-4, 11-5, 11-5).
