The Lead:Â The 13
th-ranked MIT squash team fell in both of the teams matches at the UVA Round Robin on Saturday. The Engineers were swept by host UVA but rebounded to fall just short against the Diplomats in the second match of the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED vs. UVA:
- Â Graduate student
Bill Wu (Eagleville, Pa.) was able to take a game in the fifth spot, falling 3-1 to
Tyler Mackesy in 33 minutes.
- Senior
Keith Lamp (Short Hills, N.J.) battled in the longest match of the day, but he eventually fell to
CJ Baldini, 11-8, 12-14, 11-4,11-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED vs. F&M:
- The Diplomats took victories in the top-two spots before first-year
Tom Hogan (Malvern, Pa.) earned a 3-1 win in the third spot.
- Sophomore
Eli Kramer (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Lamp both made quick work of their opponents with Kramer notching a 3-0 win in 38 minutes while Lamp took care of his opposition in 19 minutes.
- In the eighth-spot, senior
Robert Williamson (Weston, Mass.) came away with a 3-0 win.
