THE BASICS:

-Â The Lead:Â The MIT Engineers used a second-half goal by junior Ceci Muñoz (Maplewood, N.J.) to defeat Trinity College, 3-2 on the road on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bantams got on the board early in the first half with a goal by Tori Simas at 7:15.
- MIT responded at 15:59 as first-year Mia Sedgwick (Wilmette, Ill.) set up fellow classmate  Natalie Barnouw (Los Angeles, Calif.) for the tying score.
- Simas gave Trinity the lead back with a goal at 35:38 as she took a Colleen Lux pass and found the back of the net.
- Shortly after that goal, the Engineers responded again as Isabella Struckman (Scottsdale, Ariz.) sent a pass over to Muñoz who buried the goal at 37:14 to tie the match at 2-2.
- Muñoz gave the Engineers the lead at 68:52 as she connected with Struckman yet again for the game-winning score.
- The Bantams made one last effort to tie the match, but the Hannah Storozuk shot was saved by Ava Gillikin (Flemington, N.J.) as MIT took the come-from-behind win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- The two goals by Muñoz were the first in her colligate career.
- With her goal, Barnouw now has 10 points on the season.
- Gillikin made three saves in the game to improve to 2-0-1 on the season.
