- 12th Minute (11:41) – MIT 1, Amherst 0: First-year Alice Zehner (Gladwyne, Pa.) collected the ball at midfield and dished a pass to junior Liberty Ladd (Falmouth, Maine). Quickly turning upfield, Ladd connected with Forester racing to the net, who powered a low, tough-angle shot inside the far post from the right side.

- 25th Minute (24:28) – MIT 1, Amherst 1: Sam Maynard cleaned up the rebound of a saved shot by Muffie Mazambani.

- 26th Minute (25:25) – Amherst 2, MIT 1: Maynard sent a leading pass down the left sideline to Mazambani. She got a step on her defender to get the angle before ripping a laser into the top right corner.

- 30th Minute (29:30) – Amherst 3, MIT 1: On its seventh penalty corner of the contest, Maynard redirected a blast from Beth Williamson over the goal line.

- The Engineers were awarded a penalty corner with 1.3 seconds remaining in regulation. However, Amherst goalie Kaitlin Broda made stellar saves on shots by Forester and senior Emily Genevriere (San Jose, Calif.).
