MIT had four different goal scorers in the contest

THE BASICS:
- Score: No. 6 MIT – 4, Mount Holyoke - 0
- Records: MIT (8-0-1, 2-0-0 NEWMAC); Mount Holyoke (2-4-0, 0-2-0 NEWMAC)
- Location: Cambridge, Mass. (Roberts Field at Steinbrenner Stadium)
- The Lead:  A balanced scoring attack helped lead the No. 6 MIT women's soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Mount Holyoke on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MIT wasted no time in taking the lead as 32 seconds into the match, Kaitlin Zareno (Montebello, Calif.) sent a pass inside the box to Mia Sedgwick (Wilmette, Ill.) who lifted the ball just under the crossbar for the score.

- A corner kick by Stephanie Howe (Geneva, Ill.) set up the second Engineer score at 4:12 as she sent in a perfect kick to Kayla Villa (St. Charles, Ill.) who knocked the ball into the back of the net.

- Howe set up her second goal of the day off a corner again as her pass was headed in by Sarah Moseson (Morristown, N.J.) at 25:55 to give MIT a 3-0 lead.

- At 31:30 Lexi Spinetta (Austin, Texas) got past the Lyons defense and put the ball in the back of the net to make it a 4-0 contest.

- The Engineers kept the pressure on in the second half, but Mount Holyoke keeper, Shannon Breen made many great saves to keep it a four-goal game.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Seven of the Engineers eight victories have been via the shutout as MIT has allowed just four goals this season.

- Sophomore Morgan Everett (Danville, Pa.) got her first start in net and got the shutout win.

- Sedgwick is now tied for the team-lead with 11 points on the season while Howe sits third with eight points.
