Set 1: Trailing 7-3, the Engineers ripped off four-straight points, capped by a block from sophomore

Riley Oh (Irvine, Calif.) to tie the match. MIT then scored 10 of the next 14 to pull ahead 23-14. With the Engineers needing one more point for the set win, the Lions scored three-straight points to make it a 24-18 set, however, a service error gave MIT the first set win.

-
Set 2: The two teams played it close early before the Engineers scored four-straight points, highlighted by back-to-back aces by senior
Bradley Albright (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and a kill from junior
Brett Allen (San Jose, Calif.) to take an 8-5 lead. Eastern Nazarene scored the next two points before MIT scored the next three to force a Lions timeout. Coming out of the TO, Eastern Nazarene scored three-straight to make it a one-point set at 11-10. MIT responded with a 5-2 run punctuated by a kill from Albright and the Engineers would go on to win the set 25-18.

-
Set 3: The third set went back-and-forth with neither team getting much of a lead before the Engineers scored eight of 13 points, capped by a kill from first-year
Grant Oh (Irvine, Calif.) to take a 15-9 lead. A 4-0 Lions run pulled them to within two, but MIT scored seven of the next eight points to go up 22-14. Eastern Nazarene chipped away and got to within five at 23-18, but the Engineers held the Lions off and took the set 25-19.Â
