- MIT took victories in the first five courts with first-year Hyun Su Price (Philadelphia, Pa.) and junior Collin Wen (Short Hills, N.J.) earning 3-0 wins.

- Junior Nikhil Kakarla (Philadelphia, Pa.) earned a hard-fought five-set win in the fifth slot against Sen Subramaniam as he came back down 2-1 to take the match.
