Squash Opens Season with an 8-1 Win Over BU

THE BASICS:

- Scores: MIT - 8, BU - 1

- Records: MIT (1-0); Boston University (0-1)

- Location: Cambridge, Mass. (Zesiger Center)

- The Lead:  The MIT squash team opened its season with an 8-1 victory over Boston University on Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Engineers did not drop a set in the first eight courts, winning all in straight sets.

- Sophomore Tom Hogan (Malvern, Pa.) won his match in the first court over Pablo Rodriguez, 11-0, 11-3, 11-2.

- First-year Bobby Albani (Newton Square, Pa.) won in the fourth position, 11-2, 11-2, 11-6 over Martin Brnak.
