The Lead: The No. 17 MIT squash team split its matches on Sunday afternoon as the Engineers grabbed a 6-3 win over No. 14 Williams but fell to No. 5 UVA, 9-0 later in the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED vs. Williams:
- Junior
Eli Kramer (Brooklyn, N.Y.), sophomore
Tom Hogan (Malvern, Pa.), and
first-year
Hyun Su Price (Philadelphia, Pa.) gave MIT a 3-0 lead as Kramer and Hogan won their matches by 3-1 scores and Price won his by a 3-0 score.
- Williams won the next two matches to get to within one, but first-year
Bobby Albani (Newtown Square, Pa.) took a 3-1 win in the sixth slot to give MIT a 4-2 lead.
- After the Ephs won in the seventh match, first-year
Mitav Nayak (Bryn Mawr, Pa.), and
Saechow Yap won their matches to give MIT the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED vs. UVA:
- Price put together a tight contest in the three slot against
Cullen Little. Price won the first set 11-9 and forced a decisive fifth set with an 11-9 win in set four, however, Little won the fifth set by a 12-10 score.

Collin Wen (Short Hills, N.J.) and junior
Yos Wagenmans (Seattle, Wash.) also took set victories, but both fell 3-1 in their matches.
