No. 14 Squash Falls to No. 17 Williams, 6-3

THE BASICS:
- Scores: No. 17 Williams – 6, No. 14 MIT – 3

- Records: MIT (8-8); Williams (4-3)

- Location: Williamstown, Mass.  

- The Lead:  The 14th-ranked MIT squash team fell to the Ephs of Williams College, 6-3 on Sunday afternoon in Williamstown, Mass.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Senior Aman Sanger (New York, N.Y.) gave the Engineers a victory in the No. 1 slot with a four-set win over Udai Pal. After dropping the second set, Sanger went on to win the next two to take the victory.

- In the third slot, first-year Tom Hogan (Malvern, Pa.) lost the first set but rebounded to take the next three to win in four sets, 11-13, 11-4, 11-4, 11-7.

- Sophomore Nikhil Kakarla (Philadelphia, Pa.) battled in a tough five-set match, but he was bested in the final set, 11-9 by Andrew Minnins.

- Senior Keith Lamp (Short Hills, N.J.) notched a win in the ninth position with an 11-5, 11-4, 11-5 win over Charles Merrill.

UP NEXT:

- This concludes the regular season for the Engineers who will now prepare for the CSA National Championships which will begin on Friday, February 18 in Philadelphia, Pa.
