Richter Jordaan (Denver, Colo.) fell in a second set tiebreak in five singles, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) to end the match. Junior
Derek Shen (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) was in a decisive third set in No. 1 singles with the final set tied at two when the match was completed.
