Mia Sedgwick (Wilmette, Ill.) scored two first-half goals as the No. 6 MIT women's soccer team upended Castleton, 5-0 on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sedgwick scored two goals just under a minute apart to put MIT up 2-0. Her first goal at 32:10 came on a shot from 20-yards out. At 33:08 she took a pass from junior
Megan Eberts (Columbus, Ohio) and chested in the ball for the goal.

- MIT continued the offensive attack in the second half as the Engineers scored three more goals.

- Sophomore
Ashley English (Sheboygan, Wis.) opened the second-half scoring with her score at 47:43 off a corner to make it 3-0 Engineers. Junior
Meagan Rowlett (Dana Point, Calif.) followed with a goal at 51:06 as she placed a shot outside the box into the far corner for her fifth goal of the season.

Sean Luk (Bel Air, Md.) wrapped up the scoring as she grabbed the rebound off the corner kick and tallied her second goal of the season at 83:36.

- The Engineers held a commanding 32-4 advantage in shots. MIT put 14 shots on goal compared to two from the Spartans.
