HOW IT HAPPENED:
Â
- Clark looked to take an early 1-0 lead in the seventh minute when
Siobhan Lounsbury put a shot on goal that was saved by senior

Â
- The Engineers got on the board after a shot from sophomore
Mia Sedgwick (Wilmette, Ill.) deflected out to senior
Ceci Muñoz (Maplewood, N.J.) on the far side and Muñoz tucked the ball into the near post for the goal at 19:53.
Â
- Senior
Kaitlin Zareno (Montebello, Calif.) broke free from the Cougars' defense and sent a quick pass to junior
Lexi Spinetta (Austin, Texas) for the second MIT goal at 37:05.
Â
- Castle kept the shutout in tack in the late stages of the second half when
Mia Advocate got the ball in front of the Engineers' goal, but Castle came and kicked it away as the Engineers went on to secure the 2-0 win.
