Men's Squash

No. 17 Squash Bested by No. 13 Western Ontario, 8-1

THE BASICS:

- Score: No. 13 Western Ontario - 8, No. 17 MIT - 1

- Records: MIT (7-7); Western (5-2)

- Location: Annapolis, MD (Prager Family Squash Facility)

- The Lead: No. 13 Western Ontario defeated the No. 17 MIT squash team by a score of 8-1 on Saturday afternoon on the second day of the Navy Round Robin Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Junior Collin Wen (Short Hills, N.J.) and first-year Bobby Albani (Newtown Square, Pa.) both took 3-2 losses in the fourth and fifth positions respectively. Both won the fourth set to force a fifth set which came down to an 11-9 score for both players.  

- In the last match of the day, first-year Hyun Su Price (Philadelphia, Pa.) took Mitchell Kahnert to five sets in the third position. Su Price took the first two sets before Kahnert rallied to win the next two. Price then took the final set by a score of 11-7.

UP NEXT:

- MIT concludes the Navy Round Robin with a 1:00 p.m. contest against the 26th-ranked Midshipmen.
