The Lead: With a 25-14, 25-22, 25-15 decision over NEWMAC foe Clark University on Tuesday night, the No. 17 MIT women's volleyball team recorded its 10
th straight three-set victory and extended its winning streak to 16.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Set 1: MIT quickly established a 5-1 lead and then built a comfortable cushion en route to a 25-14 win.

Set 2: The first half of the set featured seven ties and four lead changes. Trailing 13-11, a kill by junior
Lauren Keller (Albuquerque, N.M.) kicked off a four-point burst that put the Engineers ahead for good. Clark stayed close down the stretch as back-to-back kills brought it within 23-22. MIT thwarted the comeback attempt courtesy of two kills by senior
Consecrata Rozario (Cary, N.C.).

Set 3: The Cougars inched out to a 6-4 lead, but a serving error by the hosts ignited a 14-3 run that was capped with an ace by sophomore
Ali Gibbs (Chagrin Falls, Ohio). An exchange of points ensued until an ace by junior
Ottavia Personeni (Bethesda, Md.) increased the Engineers' advantage to 22-12. Clark won three of the next four points, however, a pair of errors gave MIT a 25-15 victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Rozario produced 13 kills, a .476 hitting performance, and three blocks while Keller generated 13 kills and a .346 hitting percentage. Junior
Ella Gragg (Morganton, N.C.) tallied nine kills, eight digs, and three blocks as Gibbs finished with eight kills and two blocks. Junior
Emily Cheng (Sunnyvale, Calif.) registered 46 assists and seven digs while Personeni racked up a match-high 16 digs. Sophomore
Daphne Gavros (Bel Tiburon, Calif.) and senior
Ashley Margetts (Brownsburg, Ind.) notched 13 and seven digs, respectively.
