- The Lead: The No. 14 MIT men's swimming and diving team swept its dual meet against WPI and Bowdoin as the Engineers won numerous events on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Engineers kicked off the day in the 200-yard medley relay as MIT took the top two spots. Sophomore

Bryce Roberts (Mill Valley, Calif.), and senior
Tobe Obochi (Highland Park, Ill.) won the event in 1:32.98, and senior
Jaden Luo (Austin, Texas), junior
Roderick Huang (Cupertino, Calif.), senior
Arnold Su (Irvine, Calif.) and sophomore
Evan Liu (Woodbury, N.Y.) finished with a time of 1:33.08.

- In the 1,000-free, first-year
Taylor Wagner (Colorado Springs, Colo.) won the event in 9:58.01, and first-year
John Tietjen (Leawood, Kan.) clocked in at 10:04.40 for a second-place finish.

- Senior
Brian Li (Austin, Texas) won the 200-yard free by over a second as he touched the wall in 1:44.21.

- In the 100-back, Luo took first, beating out
Jack Tran of Bowdoin. Luo clocked in at 51.37, and Tran finished at 51.70.

- Huang won the 200-fly with a time of 1:53.61 with first-year
Jason Wang (Brentwood, Tenn.) in second with a time of 1:54.91.

- On the diving board, junior
David Benko (Budapest, Hungary) won the 1-meter with a score of 246.05 and took the 3-meter with a score of 220.65.

- Obochi and Su claimed the top two spots in the 100-free with Obochi touching the wall in 46.21 and Su finishing in 46.65.

- The 200-back saw sophomore
Zack West (Kailua, Hawaii) claim the top spot with a time of 1:55.42 and senior
Aaron Zhu (Chelmsford, Mass.) finishing just fractions of a second behind him with a time of 1:55.48.

- The Engineers swept the top-three spots in the 200-breast led by Huang with a time of 2:06.10. Wang finished second (2:10.11) followed by Wu in third (2:14.51).

- In the 500-yard free Luo took the top spot with a time of 4:41.92, almost nine seconds ahead of Li who finished in 4:50.58. Sophomore
Alvin Tsai (Mineola, N.Y.) finished in third with a time of 4:57.19.

- The Engineers dominated the 200-IM as they took the top-seven spots led by Wang who set the pace with a time of 1:53.27. Huang finished second (1:53.61) followed by Su (1:57.16), Zhu (1:57.65), and sophomore
Eugene Jiang (Baton Rouge, La.) (1:57.82) to wrap up the top five. Li finished in sixth (1:58.57) followed by Wagner in seventh (1:59.14).
