The Lead:Â The No. 17 MIT men's squash team faced another tough weekend test against No. 14 Colby College, No. 4 Trinity College and No. 23 Hobart College, this time at home. The Engineers fell on Friday and Saturday before coming away with the victory over No. 23 Hobart to round out their weekend.
HOW IT HAPPENED vs. No. 14 Colby College:

Collin Wen (Short Hills, N.J.)Â started things off from the third position falling 2-11, 9-11, 12-14 to his Colby foe, however his teammate, sophomoreÂ
Bobby Albani (Newtown Square, Pa.), swept his opponent from the fifth position with a 3-0 sweep, 11-9, 11-7, 11-8 to even things up.Â

- First YearÂ
Mero Elmarassy (Santa Clara, Calif.)Â fell from the first position in four sets, 11-9, 3-11, 4-11, 5-11, followed by an MIT victory by seniorÂ
Yos Wagenmans (Seattle, Wash.)Â from the eighth position, 3-11, 11-7, 11-6, 11-9, evened the score at two-all between the two teams.Â

Andrew Ding (Cambridge, Mass.)Â dropped a 3-1 match from the ninth position, 5-11, 13-11, 10-12, 8-11, battling until the very end which was then followed by an Engineers victory from the fourth position by First YearÂ
John Gunton (Lawrenceville, N.J.)Â who took down his Colby opponent in five sets, 11-6, 8-11, 5-11, 11-7, 11-5.Â

- But Colby picked up the final three wins on the day as sophomoreÂ
Hyun Su Price (Philadelphia, Pa.), seniorÂ
Nikhil Kakarla (Philadelphia, Pa.)Â and sophomoreÂ
Mitav Nayak (Bryn Mawr, Pa.)Â all fell in five sets to their opponents from the second, sixth and seventh positions respectively in the loss.Â

HOW IT HAPPENED vs. No. 4 Trinity College:

- The Bantams finished with a clean sweep of the Engineers on Saturday afternoon.

- Elmarassy fell from the first position 10-12, 5-11, 3-11 followed by Price from position two, 1-11, 1-11, 2-11.Â

- Wen dropped the third position 1-11, 10-12, 5-11 while Gunton battled in one of the longest matches of the day falling 8-11, 6-11, 7-11 to his Bantam foe from the fourth position.

- Albani dropped the fifth position 7-11, 4-11, 6-11 as Kakarla fell in the sixth position 9-11, 6-11, 7-11 and Nayak fell in the seventh in the other longest set time wise, 6-11, 12-14, 5-11.

- Wagenmans fell in the eighth 0-11, 8-11, 6-11 and Ding wrapped up the day with a 5-11, 4-11, 9-11 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED vs. No. 23 Hobart College:

- Elmarassy picked up a hard-fought victory, 13-11, 11-6, 11-6 from the first position, sweeping his Hobart opponent followed by a comeback victory by Price from the second position. Price was down 2-0 before coming back to earn the 8-11, 8-11, 11-8, 12-10, 11-7 victory.Â
- Wen fell in the third position in a tough 6-11, 7-11, 9-11 battle, followed by a loss from the fourth position from Gunton, who fell 11-1, 11-7, 9-11, 3-11, 8-11.Â

- Albani dropped a match from the fifth position, falling 12-10, 3-11, 9-11, 5-11 in a hard-fought battle while Kakarla and Nayak swept their opponents from the sixth and seventh positions with scores of 13-11, 11-2, 11-8 and 11-6, 11-8, 11-2.Â

- Graduate studentÂ
Matt McManus (Philadelphia, Pa.)Â came away with a five-set, 3-2 victory 11-5, 4-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-8 to solidify the win from the eighth position, followed by a sweep from Wagenmans from the ninth position, 11-8, 11-4, 11-6.Â
