HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Husson built a 17-point on a fast break three from
Eric Ahlers that made it 24-7 at 11:21. An 8-0 run that featured four points from first-year
Isaac Dobie (Kitty Hawk, N.C.) cut the Eagles lead to 33-23 with 4:26 left in the half, but the visitors held on to the double-digit lead and ended the half up 42-30.

Jared Balser gave Husson a 19-point lead with a dunk at 15:51 to make the score 52-33. The Engineers began to chip away at the lead as a 12-3 run, punctuated by a steal and layup from first-year
Michael Zhang (Jacksonville, Fla.) got MIT to within six with 4:11 remaining.

- The Eagles did not let MIT get any closer after the Zhang layup as a three from
Derek Collins put Husson back up 10 and sealed the 80-66 win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Bland's 19-point outing was his seventh game with at least 10 points and his fourth of at least 15. He also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out two assists.

- Dobie added 14 points followed by Zhang 11 and Gogolin with 10. Zhang also had seven rebounds in the contest.

Riles Neff led the Eagles with 16 points with Ahlers adding 14 and Balser with 10.
