HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Rowlett set up first year
Katherine Ruan (Naperville, Ill.) in at 26:47 for the second goal of the day for MIT. Ruan took the pass from Rowlett and came across in front of the cage to tap the ball into the corner of the goal to give MIT a 2-0 advantage.
- Junior
Ashley English (Sheboygan, Wis.) looked to make it a 3-0 lead early in the second half, but her shot grazed the post and went out of play.
