No. 16 Squash Drops 7-2 Road Match to No. 18 Amherst

- Location: Amherst, Mass. (Davenport Squash Courts)

- The Lead: The 16th-ranked MIT squash team dropped a 7-2 road match to No. 18 Amherst on the road on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
 
-  The Mammoth took a 3-0 lead with wins in the one, five, and seven positions. In the top spot, first-year Mero Elmarassy (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Adam Lichtmacher went the full five as Lichmacher won the final two sets for the victory.
 
- Sophomore Hyun Su Price (Philadelphia, Pa.) grabbed a 3-0 win in the second position, and first-year John Gunton (Lawrenceville, Pa.) earned a 3-1 in the fourth position.
 
- Amherst went on to win the remainder of the matches for the 7-2 win.

- The Engineers are right back at it with another ranked opponent when MIT welcomes No. 29 Wesleyan to the Zesiger Squash Courts on Tuesday, January 16th at 5 p.m.
