- The Lead: The No. 16 MIT squash team suffered a 9-0 defeat to No. 12 Tufts, 9-0 at the Tufts Squash Center on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
- The Jumbos won seven of nine matches in straight sets.
 
- Senior Nikhil Kakarla (Philadelphia, Pa.) picked up a set win in the fifth position as he took the opening set by a 13-11 score over Jared Chin.
 
- Sophomore Mitav Nayak (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) won the third set against Rutva Samant 11-8 at the sixth position.
 
UP NEXT:

- The Engineers are back on the courts on Saturday, January 27 when they host Middlebury on the Zesiger Squash Courts at 1:30 p.m.
