WATERVILLE, Maine – The No. 17 MIT squash team rallied to earn a 5-4 road win over No. 18 Colby on Sunday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS:

• Scores: MIT 5, Colby 4
• Records: MIT (5-4), Colby (1-1)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Colby took a hard fought 3-2 win in the third position and earned a 3-1 win in the fourth latter.
• Junior Mitav Nayak (Bryn Mawr, Pa.) and graduate student Collin Wen (Short Hills, N.J.) grabbed 3-0 wins in the sixth and seventh ladders.
• First years Zachary Starr (Dover, N.H.) and Eddie Xue (Westport, Conn.) earned sweeps in positions eight and nine.
• The Mules made cut the MIT lead to 4-3 with a 3-0 win by sophomore Seif Ashraf (Cairo, Egypt) in the second ladder.
• First year Sean-Winston Luo (Ringoes, N.J.) clinched the win for MIT with a 3-1 win in the fifth ladder over senior Syed Kashef (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).

• MIT is back in action on Tuesday, December 3 when the Engineers will travel to Brown for a 6:00 PM contest.
