CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 16 MIT squash team earned its second straight sweep as the Engineers took down Northeastern, 9-0, on Tuesday night at the Zesiger Center Squash Courts.
 
THE BASICS:

• Scores: MIT 9, Northeastern 0
• Records: MIT (2-0), Northeastern (2-6) 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• MIT won every ladder by a 3-0 score.
• First year Zachary Starr (Dover, N.H.) defeated Charles Egan in the sixth position by a score of 11-4, 11-1, 11-5. Classmate Eddie Xue (Westport, Conn.) followed with a win in the seventh position, 11-5, 11-4, 11-2.
• Sophomore Mero Elmarassy (Santa Clara, Calif.) won in the top position by an 11-0, 11-2, 11-5 score.
• Junior Hyun Su Price (Philadelphia, Pa.) took an 11-3, 11-6, 11-1 win over Sam Cotsarelis in the second ladder.
