Libi Matityahoo (Yehud Monosson, Israel) led all players with 15 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Engineers.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- A pair of free throws by Matityahoo brought MIT within 9-7 with 3:52 remaining, however, NYU rattled off eight straight points to end the quarter.
- After a back-and-forth start that saw Matityahoo's jumper narrow the gap to 22-13 at the 6:50 mark of the second quarter, the Violets responded with a 14-5 run to close out the half.
- NYU opened the third quarter with 15 unanswered points, moving the score to 51-18 with 3:33 on the clock. The Violets maintained their comfortable cushion en route to the 80-39 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Senior Kamsi Nwogu (Algonquin, Ill.) produced six points and six rebounds while senior Elise Harvey (Wayland, Mass.) and junior Alice Hall (Ambler, Pa.) both grabbed four rebounds.
