No. 21 Men's Tennis Takes Down Eastern Nazarene, 8-1

- The Lead: The MIT men's tennis team defeated Eastern Nazarene 8-1 Saturday afternoon.


HOW IT HAPPENED
 
- The Engineers won all three doubles and five out of six singles as the Lions grabbed No. 6 singles.
 
- Graduate student Daniel Papacica (Carmel, Calif.) and first year Grant Gallagher (Irvine, Calif.) captured the first win of the match with an 8-1 victory in No. 1 doubles.
 
- Senior Kailas Kahler (Pawtucket, R.I.) secured the first singles win at No. 1 with a score of 6-2, 6-0. Senior Joseph Li (Naperville, Ill.) followed Kahler at No. 4 winning in straight-sets, 6-1, 6-2.
 
- Senior Sundeep Chakladar (Redondo Beach, Calif.) secured the win for MIT after a hard fought three-set match with a final score of 5-7, 6-2, 10-6 over Luis Hernandez in No. 5 singles.
