- The Lead: The MIT men's swimming and diving team earned All-American honors in the 800-Free Relay on day three of the 2024 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

800 Free Relay
- The Engineers finished in eighth with a time of 6:35.71, .10 seconds behind TCNJ.
- Senior Tobe Obochi (Highland Park, Ill.) led off with a time of 1:38.86 and classmate Jaden Luo (Austin, Texas) followed with a time of 1:38.24. First year Taylor Wagner (Colorado Springs, Colo.) clocked in with a time of 1:39.08 and senior Brian Li (Austin, Texas) finished in 1:39.53.
- Li notched his third All-American honor in the race along with Luo while Obochi recorded his second in the event. Wagner earned his first career All-American honor.
- Luo is now a 13-time All-American and Obochi now has 17 All-American honors.
