- The Lead: Racing against a trio of heavyweight boats, the MIT men's lightweight crew Varsity 8+ came away with the victory over Williams, Tufts, and Hamilton on Saturday morning.

INSIDE THE RACES:

- MIT edged out Tufts by 2.02 seconds to take the V8+ victory in 5:59.05. Williams was close behind in 6:02.64 as Hamilton rounded out the field with a time of 6:26.39.

- In the 2V8+ race, Williams and Tufts battled it out down the course. Williams crossed the line first at 6:04.02, just 4.21 seconds ahead of Tufts. The Engineers finished third at 6:25.37, followed by Hamilton (6:58.94).
