The MIT sailing team earned an 11th place finish at the Women's Atlantic Coast Championship to highlight another busy weekend of racing for the Engineers.  

WOMEN'S ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP | Cambridge, Mass. | 11th of 18 

• Over the two-day regatta, the Engineers totaled 286 points. 
• Brooke Barry, Christine Keedy Brown and Emma Wang led the 'A' Division boat to a 13th place finish with 160 points. Their weekend was highlighted by a third-place finish as they collected a total of five top 10 finishes. 
• Karya Basaraner, Sophia Woodbury, Kaitlyn Beaver finished eighth in the 'B' Division with 126 points. The team collected eight top-10 places with a best finish of third.   

CAPTAIN HURST BOWL | Hanover, N.H. | 13th of 14 

• MIT finished the regatta with 176 points. 
• In the 'A' Division, Lucas Escandon Layla Bursor finished 14th with 86 points. 
• Adé Larsen and Alice Colby took 13th in the 'B' Division with 90 points. 

SAVIN HILL INVITE | Chestnut Hill, Mass. | 13th of 14 

• The Engineers finished the one-day race with 168 points.  
• Kaitlyn Beaver and Diba Demir led the 'A' Division boat to a 10th place finish with 86 points with a best finish of fifth. 
• In the 'B' Division, Tamsin Horne and Valerie Xin took 12th with 82 points and a top finish of sixth. 

UP NEXT: 

• Next weekend the Engineers will compete at the Open Atlantic Coast Championships at Navy and the Yale Women's Team race. They will also host the Oberg Trophy.
