CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The MIT women's openweight crew team finished ninth in the Women's Club Eights to lead four entries for the Engineers on Saturday at the 2025 Head Of The Charles Regatta on the Charles River. 

THE BASICS:

• Women's Club Fours: 26th and 39th  
• Women's Club Eights: 9th and 21st 

RACE BY RACE:

• Women's Club Fours: Racing with Bow #19, MIT's "A" entry finished the course with the 26th best time in 19:26.558. The Engineers finished ahead of La Salle "A" (19:41.076) and behind William and Mary "A" (19:21.797). The MIT "B" entry, racing with Bow #52 finished 39th overall in 20:15.269. The Engineers were behind the club entry Vesper "A" (20:09.101) but ahead of Capital "A" (20:19.319).
• Women's Club Eights: Racing with Bow #4, MIT's "A" entry finished ninth overall in 16:48.611, ahead of the club entry from Riverside Boat Club (16:53.970) but just off the pace set by local rival Boston College in eighth (16:47.652). MIT's "B" entry was 21st in 17:16.320 but the Engineers were right on the pace set by the "A" boat from Patriot League rival Holy Cross (17:11.534) and ahead of La Salle "A" (17:20.685).
