CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The MIT rifle team fell to Ohio State, 4,698 – 4,349, on Sunday at the DuPont Rifle Range.
William Knowlton led the Engineers with a personal-best aggregate score of 1,108, placing seventh overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED – AIR RIFLE:
- The Buckeyes defeated the Engineers, 2,365-2,201, and claimed first through sixth place in the individual rankings.
- Knowlton was the top finisher for the hosts with a personal best of 567.
- Antonelli was next with 548 points, narrowly ahead of Xu and Campbell who both shot a 546 but Xu had 22 centers compared to 17 by Campbell.
- Dimiati ranked 11th with a total of 543, just three points ahead of Rodriguez.
- Pal had a season-high score of 536 as Lin set a new personal-best mark of 490.
- Spencer Sindhusen rounded out MIT by placing 15th with a tally of 470.
