ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The No. 13 MIT squash team wrapped up its weekend with an 8-1 win against No. 19 Rochester on Sunday afternoon. This was the Engineers' first win over the Yellowjackets since 2002. 
 
THE BASICS:  

• Score: MIT 8, Rochester 1 
• Records: MIT (5-0), Rochester (1-3) 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• MIT took a quick 2-0 lead overall as John Gunton and Mitav Nayak earned 3-0 wins. 
• Eddie Xue followed with an 11-5, 11-7, 11-5 win in the eighth ladder to make it 3-0 Engineers. 
• Isaac Torchinsky-Field earned a five-set win over Thomas Valderrama in the sixth ladder to make it a 4-0 contest. Torchinsky-Field fell behind 1-2, but won the next two sets.  
• Rishabh Sharma and Mero Elmarassy also took 3-0 wins and the Yellowjackets got on the board with a 3-1 win from Dhirren Rajarathinam in the second ladder.  
• Hyun Su Price earned a 3-1 victory in the top spot and Zachary Starr grabbed a five-set victory over Vandrick Inman-Benavente who won the fourth set 14-12 to force a decisive fifth set which Starr won 11-7.
