CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Five members of the No. 8 MIT women's soccer team have been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region II Team with four earning first-team laurels. Natalie Barnouw, Arianna Doss, Leena Mehendale, and Madeline Seebeck were named to the first team and Sasha Ceol was named to the second team.
Natalie Barnouw:
- First Team All-Region
- Four-time First Team All-Region honor
- Led the team in all three offensive categories (goals, assists, points)
Arianna Doss:
- First Team All-Region
- First All-Region accolade
- Finished fourth on the team with six goals and 15 points
Leena Mehendale:
- First Team All-Region
- First All-Region honor
- Scored first career goal against Mount Holyoke directly off a corner kick
Madeline Seebeck:
- First Team All-Region
- First All-Region honor
- Scored career-high 10 goals while anchoring an MIT defense that allowed just seven goals all season
Sasha Ceol
- Second Team All-Region
- First All-Region honor
- Led the MIT defense which tied a program record for shutouts in a season with 20
