-MEDFORD, Mass. – The No. 13 MIT squash team took on No. 11 Tufts on Friday afternoon at the Tufts Squash Courts and dropped an 7-2 decision. 
 
THE BASICS:  

• Score: Tufts 7, MIT 2 
• Records: MIT (7-2), Tufts (3-3) 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• Sean-Winston Luo took Shivin Kumar to five sets in the eighth position before dropping the last set, 11-4. 
• Eddie Xue got the Engineers on the board with a 3-2 win in the ninth ladder, 15-13, 10-12, 7-11, 11-4, 11-4 over Shivin Kumar. 
• Rishabh Sharma closed out the day for the engineers with a 3-2 victory in the seventh slot over Mustafa Ayaz, 9-11, 11-7, 11-8, 7-11, 17-19. 

UP NEXT:  

• MIT will break for the rest of the year and will be back in action on Sunday, January 11 when they host Bates at 3:00 PM.
