BOSTON, Mass. - The No. 9 MIT men's swimming and diving team had selected student-athletes compete in the Boston University Winter Open on Friday night at the FitRec Competition Pool on Friday night. 

THE BASICS:    

Score: No Team Score 

HOW IT HAPPENED:   

• 50 Free: First-year Michael Turmilov (Frisco, Texas) finished in 22.22 and classmate Jack Bolte (Atlanta, Ga.) clocked in at 22.60. 
• 1-Meter Diving: Sophomore Jack Tucker (Naples, Fla.) finished with a score of 145.20.  

UP NEXT:   

• The BU Winter Open will continue tomorrow, Saturday, February 8 with session one beginning at 12:00 PM followed by session two at 6:00 PM. The team will then travel to Worcester, Mass. for the NEWMAC Championships that will take place Thursday, February 20-Sunday February 23.
