CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Eleven members of the MIT water polo team have been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Team it was announced. In addition, the Engineers earned team honors.
MIT finished the season with a team GPA of 3.74, ranking as the second highest among all NCAA water polo teams. Caltech led the way with a 3.82 GPA followed by MIT, Harvard, Brown, and Johns Hopkins.
The individual all-academic teams are divided into three categories – Outstanding (3.71-4.00), Superior (3.41-3.70) and Excellent (3.20-3.40) – based on cumulative grade point average

Ivatorov, Khamesra, and Keller earn their second selections to the team.
