GREENSBORO, NC. - The No. 9 MIT men's swimming and diving team opened day one of the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving National Championships with first year Grant Hu (Allen, Texas) earning All-America honors in the 500 Free.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- 500 Free: Hu took seventh with a final time of 4:25.76, improving on his prelim time of 4:27.30.
- 200 IM: Sophomore Jason Wang (Brentwood, Tenn.) earned All-America with a 13th-place finish. He finished in 1:48.95.
- 400 Medley Relay: The MIT team of sophomore Aitor Arrese-Igor (Delray Beach, Fla.), junior Thomas Wu (Cedar Park, Texas), first year Ben Wu (New Canaan, Conn.), and sophomore Bryce Roberts (Mill Valley, Calif.) finished in 11th with a time of 3:14.20, knocking almost a minute off their prelim time.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Roberts recorded his fifth All-America honor.
- Wang, Hu, Thomas Wu, Ben Wu, and Arrese-Igor all earned their first All-America honor.
